Road Testing the Heavy Tropix Sport

We first met Dani Noguera at MCASD’s inaugural Design Expo, put on by our friends Mortis Studio.

Dani was showcasing cycling kits and some other incredible gear from GRIN27, his endurance sportswear project. With next level art direction and the nicest guy behind the brand, GRIN has quickly become a fav over at Crap HQ. So, when we were looking for someone to road test our new Heavy Tropix Sport frame, Dani was the obvious choice.
In addition to designing and ethically producing the sickest cycling kits on the market, GRIN27 also hosts community building events, shares tips for staying safe while biking the streets of Los Angeles, and even curates a radio station.

We recently caught up with Dani to talk more about GRIN27, and ofc look cool in The Heavy Tropix Sport ;)

What’s coming up for GRIN product-wise?

Really excited for what's coming for GRIN27 in the fall and winter. In particular we've got our first winter jersey dropping and it's something I'm super proud of. Also was hyped on this project, really happy with the way this turned out.

Any G27 happenings in the works?

We just announced a spooky halloween trail run with Usal Project and Knog! Super stoked on that. Otherwise planning to keep doing beginner and access focused events until the end of the year… and maybe one or two surprise events along the way ;D

What’s up with Limit Scanner?

Honestly a slept on part of our content pillars! It’s a one hour radio show focused on curating textural tunes to help dial in your mornings. I highly recommend it. [listen here]

Fav song while cycling right now?

Max B, Jim Jones - We Be On Our Shit
